Tyres with improved rolling resistance ratings require less energy to move the vehicle forward, reducing fuel consumption and the associated carbon dioxide emissions directly. At end of life, commercial tyres must be disposed of through licensed waste tyre management channels. UK legislation prohibits tyre disposal in landfill. Reputable mobile tyre service providers collect and dispose of used tyres responsibly as part of their standard service, ensuring operators meet their legal obligations under environmental regulations without the need to make separate disposal arrangements.
